We use a rigorous procedure to test the quality and specific features of each bike. The information we obtain is a valuable resource to those in the industry. First we rode the bike on dry pavement and were very impressed with the Kenda tires that are included. We were not let down and we were very happy with the handling on our wet pavement test.
The Fuji patrol has a well balanced and responsive ride. The bike handled well at both slow and fast speeds and shifted smoothly through all the gear ranges. This is important because you can ride this bike effectively in slower paced crowd control and monitoring situations as well as for faster paced chases and emergency response situations.
The quality aluminum frame and SunTour forks are the foundation for this bike with a combined weight of only 32 pounds. Not bad for a full duty bike that can be ridden in the harshest condition around the clock (24/7). The ride is very comfortable and that goes along way when law enforcement and security personnel are sometimes on the bikes for 10-12 hour shifts.
